It represents one of the most ambitious projects of iotti hc.
The supply consisted of 10 single-acting telescopic cylinders with a stroke of nearly 20 meters and a pulling force of 150 tons.
HVOF coating giarantees the best anti- corrosive resistance of the cylinders.
It is equipped with an internal sensor to detect the position, making the cylinder unique of its kind.

The cylinders were customized following the customer’s instructions with the specific aim to substitute existing cylinders.
The posistion sensor which was created for these cylinders is particuratly innovative and on the cutting edge.
Its unique processing is directly carried out on the rod which is subsequently covered with its coating.
The hvof treatment is comparatively one of the most effective in terms of resistence and reliability.
The cylinder can reach a lifting capacity of 70 tons with a 3mt. stroke.

In 2018 a pair of cylinders was manufactured to be set up on one the numerous london drawbridges which are scattered on the thames tributaries.
Both cylinders were built with an inox aisi 630 steel rod to be protected from corrosion, in addition they are also equipped with full valve block together with the deriving connecting hydraulic system.

In 2013 iotti started to produce massive cylinders for the indian market.
The first order implied the manufacturing of 4 cylinders to open the shutters of a hydroelectic powerplant in Jurial, India.
In particular it was a supply of cylinders weighing 270 tons and with a stroke of nearly 12 meters.
Besides, in order to cope with the critical situations due to weather conditions, the company decided to set up an inox aisi 431 steel rod while applying special coating products for further protection.
